    Quick Overview

    These gorgeous candle holders are hand-made from glass and a layer of clay. The clay allows the candle flame to illuminate through and radiate the magnificent colours of the Dreamtime designs.

    From a young age, Kathleen lived with her family in a remote Aboriginal community in Central Australia. Her designs are inspired by life experiences in a time free of modern technology. Treasured family times were spent out bush on hunting trips, searching for bush tucker, seeking out desert waterholes and playing with desert creatures. Kathleen still lives in the bush with her husband and their two sons, on his maternal land west of Alice Springs.

    A portion of each sale goes to the artist.

    The designs in this collection were inspired by the artist's life in a remote aboriginal community. This design depicts the emus of Finniss Springs. The emu is a sacred bird for Aboriginal people and is the subject of many Dreamtime stories.
